Welcome to Assirat App, your comprehensive Islamic companion application. Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Assirat App mobile application (the "Service") operated by AInnovatex ("us", "we", or "our"). App identifier: com.ainnovatex.assirat.

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned upon your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About Assirat App

Assirat App is a comprehensive Islamic application designed to assist Muslims in their daily worship and spiritual journey. The app provides:

• Complete Holy Quran with multiple translations and audio recitations
• Accurate prayer times with customizable calculation methods and Athan notifications
• Qibla direction finder using device compass
• Digital Tasbih with multiple dhikr options and progress tracking
• Authentic Duas and Supplications collection
• Hadith library (Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, An-Nawawi's 40 Hadith)
• 99 Names of Allah with meanings and pronunciation
• Halal food scanner with barcode and ingredient recognition
• Zakat calculator (Zakat al-Mal and Zakat al-Fitr)
• Islamic (Hijri) calendar with important dates
• Nearby mosque finder with map view
• Khatmah (Quran completion) scheduler and tracker
• Quran Video Creator with customizable backgrounds
• Ramadan tracker with fasting schedule
• Hajj and Umrah step-by-step guide
• Ruqyah collection for spiritual healing
• Islamic educational games: puzzles, word games, quizzes, and Seerah map

The app is available in 8 languages: English, Arabic, Urdu, Turkish, French, Spanish, Persian, and Indonesian.

2. User Accounts

Assirat App offers optional user account creation:

• Account creation is not required to use core features
• Accounts are managed via Supabase authentication (email and password)
• Creating an account enables cloud sync of bookmarks, progress, game statistics, and settings
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You may delete your account and all associated data at any time via the app or by contacting us

3. Subscriptions and Purchases

Assirat App offers optional premium features via in-app subscriptions:

• Subscriptions are managed through RevenueCat and processed by Apple App Store or Google Play Store
• Monthly and yearly subscription plans are available
• Optional tip/donation system is available to support development
• Payment processing is handled entirely by the respective app stores — we never access your payment information
• Subscription cancellation follows Apple App Store / Google Play Store policies
• Refund requests should be directed to the respective app store

4. User Responsibilities

By using Assirat App, you agree to:

• Use the app for lawful and beneficial purposes
• Respect the sacred nature of the Quranic text and Islamic content
• Not attempt to modify, decompile, or redistribute the app or its content without permission
• Verify prayer times with local Islamic authorities when precision is critical
• Use the Halal scanner as a guideline, not as the sole basis for halal determination
• Use location and notification services responsibly

5. Permissions and Device Access

Assirat App requests the following device permissions, all of which are optional and controllable:

• Location: For prayer times, Qibla direction, and mosque finder
• Notifications: For prayer time alerts and reminders
• Camera: For halal food barcode/ingredient scanning and Quran video creation
• Microphone: For voice search (speech-to-text)
• Photos/Media: For saving and sharing created Quran videos
• Background Execution: For delivering prayer notifications and audio playback

All permissions can be revoked at any time through your device settings. Features requiring denied permissions will gracefully degrade.

6. Content Accuracy Disclaimer

We make every effort to ensure the accuracy of religious content. However:

• Prayer times are calculated using mathematical methods (multiple calculation methods available) and may differ from local mosque times
• Qibla direction depends on your device's compass calibration and sensors
• The Halal scanner relies on the Open Food Facts database and ingredient analysis — results should be verified independently for strict dietary requirements
• Zakat calculations are based on standard Islamic rulings — consult a scholar for complex financial situations
• Islamic calendar dates may vary by 1-2 days based on moon sighting differences
• Users should always consult qualified Islamic scholars for specific religious rulings

7. Intellectual Property

• App design and code: Proprietary to AInnovatex
• Quranic text: Public domain; translations and audio recitations may have specific licenses
• Audio recitations: Licensed from qualified reciters (Mishary Alafasy, Abdul Basit, Abu Bakr Ash-Shaatree, and others)
• Islamic content: Sourced from authentic references with proper attribution
• Third-party libraries: Used under their respective open-source licenses

8. Privacy and Data

We respect your privacy and handle your data according to Islamic principles of trust (Amanah):

• Most data is stored locally on your device
• Cloud sync is optional and requires an account
• We do not sell personal information
• Firebase Analytics collects anonymized usage data
• GDPR-compliant data export and deletion are available

9. Limitation of Liability

Assirat App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind:

• We are not liable for missed prayers due to notification delivery failures or battery optimization
• Users should independently verify critical religious information
• The Halal scanner is an assistive tool and does not guarantee halal certification
• Zakat calculations are estimates and should be verified with a scholar
• We are not responsible for device-specific functionality issues (compass accuracy, GPS precision, etc.)
• The app supplements but does not replace Islamic education and scholarly guidance

10. Updates and Changes

• We regularly update Assirat App to improve accuracy, add content, and fix bugs
• Terms may be updated with advance notice via in-app notification
• Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of revised terms
• Major feature additions or data practice changes will be clearly communicated

11. Termination

• You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it
• If you have an account, you may delete it via app settings or by contacting us
• We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access for violations of these Terms
• Upon termination, your local data remains on your device until you uninstall the app
