AInnovatex ("us", "we", or "our") operates the Assirat App mobile application (the "Service"), a comprehensive Islamic companion app available on iOS and Android (Bundle ID: com.ainnovatex.assirat).

This Privacy Policy informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service. We use your data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy and Islamic principles of trust and privacy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Location Data

• GPS coordinates via device location services
• Used for calculating prayer times, Qibla direction, and nearby mosque search
• Processed in real-time; not permanently stored on our servers
• You can deny location access or set a manual location in settings

1.2 Account Information (Optional)

• If you create an account: email address and password
• Authentication is managed through Supabase (our backend provider)
• Account creation is optional — all core features work without one
• Accounts enable cloud sync of bookmarks, progress, and settings across devices

1.3 Usage Analytics

• Screen views and feature usage patterns (via Firebase Analytics)
• User preferences (language, theme)
• No personal religious activities are individually tracked
• Analytics are aggregated and anonymized

1.4 Device Information

• Device type, operating system, and app version
• Crash reports and performance metrics
• Language and region settings

1.5 Camera and Microphone (Permission-Based)

• Camera: Used only for the Halal food scanner (barcode and ingredient scanning via Google ML Kit OCR) and the Quran Video Creator feature
• Microphone: Used only for voice search (speech-to-text) functionality
• No audio or video is recorded or stored without your explicit action
• Permissions can be revoked at any time via device settings

1.6 Photos and Media (Permission-Based)

• Used only when you save or share content from the Quran Video Creator
• We do not access your photo library for any other purpose

2. How We Use Your Data

• Calculate accurate prayer times based on your location
• Provide precise Qibla direction
• Find nearby mosques using location-based search
• Deliver prayer time notifications and Athan calls
• Verify halal status of food products via barcode scanning
• Sync your bookmarks, reading progress, and settings across devices (if logged in)
• Improve app functionality and fix bugs
• Provide Islamic content relevant to your language preference

We DO NOT:

• Track your personal worship activities
• Sell your personal information to anyone
• Use your data for advertising
• Monitor your religious practices
• Share your location with advertisers or data brokers

3. Third-Party Services

Assirat App integrates with the following third-party services:

3.1 Supabase (Backend & Authentication)

• Provides user authentication and cloud data sync
• Stores account data, bookmarks, and user progress
• Processes data securely with encryption

3.2 Firebase (Analytics & Push Notifications)

• Firebase Analytics: anonymous usage statistics
• Firebase Cloud Messaging: push notification delivery
• No personal data is included in analytics events

3.3 RevenueCat (Subscriptions)

• Manages optional premium subscriptions and in-app purchases
• Payment processing is handled by Apple App Store / Google Play Store
• We never see or store your payment details

3.4 External APIs

• Aladhan API: Prayer time calculations and Islamic calendar data (receives location coordinates)
• Open Food Facts API: Product information for halal scanner (receives barcode data)
• Google Maps: Mosque finder and location mapping
• Google ML Kit: On-device OCR text recognition for ingredient scanning (processed locally)
• Islamic Network CDN: Quran audio recitations

4. Data Storage and Security

Local Storage:

• Most app data is stored locally on your device (SQLite database, SharedPreferences)
• Sensitive data uses Flutter Secure Storage (encrypted)
• Quran, Hadith, and Duas are pre-loaded for offline access

Cloud Storage (Optional):

• If you create an account, your bookmarks, reading progress, game statistics, and settings can be synced via Supabase
• Cloud sync is optional and can be disabled at any time
• All transmissions are encrypted via HTTPS

Data Retention:

• Location data: processed in real-time, not stored
• Local preferences: stored until you uninstall the app
• Cloud data: retained until you delete your account or request data deletion
• Analytics: anonymized and automatically purged per Firebase retention policies

5. Children's Privacy

Assirat App is rated 4+ and designed to be family-friendly:

• No social features or communication capabilities
• No advertising or inappropriate content
• Account creation is optional and not required for children
• Educational Islamic content appropriate for all ages
• We encourage parental guidance for younger users

6. Your Privacy Rights

Access & Control:

• Enable or disable location, camera, microphone, and notification permissions via device settings
• Use all core features without creating an account
• Delete all local data by uninstalling the app

GDPR Compliance:

• Request a copy of your data (data export is built into the app)
• Request deletion of your account and all associated cloud data
• Withdraw consent for data processing at any time

Data Export:

• Export your data directly from within the app (Settings > Account)
• Or contact us via email for manual data export requests

7. International Data Transfers

Assirat App serves Muslims worldwide. Data may be processed in locations where our service providers operate:

• Supabase infrastructure (cloud backend)
• Firebase / Google Cloud (analytics and notifications)
• All transfers use adequate safeguards and encryption
• We comply with GDPR and CCPA requirements

8. Policy Updates

• Updates will be posted in the app and on this page
• Significant changes will be highlighted via in-app notification
• Continued use of the app after updates constitutes acceptance
